IFMR Capital Workshop on ‘New Sources of Financing for MFIs’

In collaboration with Crisil and Access Development Services, IFMR Capital is organizing the second in its series of MFI workshops (on 29 & 30th April 2010, Kolkata) that aims to equip MFIs with knowledge about new sources of financing such as securitisation. The last workshop was held in December 2009 and saw overwhelming participation from a variety of MFIs.

With speakers from IFMR Capital and Crisil, the workshop will allow MFIs to understand the basics of debt financing, securitisation concepts, legal and regulatory requirements, and rating methodologies. An added plus will be a session on current investor feedback on microloan backed securitisations structured by IFMR Capital.
